So, I decided.

I am sick of being a pessimist. I am sick of being sad about moving. I know I'm going to miss all of my friends and I'm going to miss my family. But, I should be excited! This is a good thing! At least, that's what everyone is telling me... So, the point of this post is to help me figure out why I am so excited to move and start college. I am going to list a reason for every day that I have left before I move. It's going to be a little rough towards the end but I think I can make it.

Reason #1- I get to look at this beautiful building every day!

Reason # 2- I get to live here:

Reason #3- I get to have a fresh start and be can be whoever I want to be. Nobody has to know that I'm painfully shy or that I didn't talk to anyone for the first month that I lived here. I can just be me! The me I've always wanted to be!

Reason #4- I get to go to a school that has family heritage. Both my Great-grandmother and my Great- grandfather Biddulph taught at BYU-I when it was Rick's college. There is a Men's dorm named after my Grandpa and the children's section of the library is dedicated to my Grandmother. So, I guess I'll have some family while I'm there. If ever I'm missing home, I'll just go visit the children's library and look at the picture of my Grandmother Ruth.

Reason #5- Even if I will not ever get to partake of the glory because of homework or studying, I am going to be living in the mecca of fly-fishing. See below:

The Snake River
Reason #6- I get to decorate my new room. I realize this sounds silly. I'm going to be living in a small apartment. However, I love putting my things away in a new bedroom and putting a new comforter on a new bed. It's a symbol to me of the exciting part of starting over. Every time my parents have dragged me away from my friends and to a new home, that's been my favorite part.

Reason #7- This may not be a reason I'm excited to go to Rexburg, but it's a reason I'm not as mad that I am. I can still come home for Thanksgiving and Christmas and some random weekends. It's not like everyone's going to die or otherwise disappear forever when I leave!

Reason #8- These will be my new home.

The Grand Tetons. Have I mentioned these are my favorite mountains? They are. They're absolutely gorgeous!
Reason #9- This is the beginning of the rest of my life. (cheesy, I know.) I can finally start moving on with things. From here on out, life is going to be like reading a suspense mystery novel. Before graduation, I knew pretty  much what was going to happen every day. Wake up, go to school, go to practice, come home, do my homework, go to sleep. The same thing happened every day. And I knew that after one year of high school, there just came another. It was starting to get a little old. Don't get me wrong, high school was fantastic. It just seemed like the same things happened over and over and over. And, if something out of the ordinary was going to happen, I could find out about it ahead of time on the link titled "calendar" on the Timpview homepage. But, now, anything could happen! I'm excited to find out what it is!
