Home sweet home...

...well, hopefully soon it will be. I moved into my apartment yesterday and have been doing my best to settle in. I love my roommates and think we'll have a lot of fun this semester and I feel like things have gone well so far. But, when I'm not actively doing something, I start to think about friends and family and home. Occasionally, I'll think of something that I want to to do or someone that I want to see and then I realize that I can't because I'm four hours away from those things. I've been trying not to focus on them too much but there have definitely been a few rough moments. However, I've decided that even though my room isn't the one I'm used to and my new apartment isn't what I'd regularly refer to as home, things are going to turn out good. This doesn't just have to be some apartment I'm staying in for the semester and Rexburg doesn't just have to be the town that houses that apartment. But, this cute little place can be my home for now. (Don't worry my cute little sisters. We all know where my real home will always be.) I need to just be myself and have as much fun as I can! I am determined to make this semester great!
